About Masai Mara
|The Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya's most celebrated wildlife sanctuary, a vast savannah landscape that epitomizes the African safari experience. Named after the ancestral inhabitants of the area, the Maasai people, and the Mara River that flows through it, this reserve is part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem that stretches from Tanzania.
|Famous worldwide for the Great Migration, one of nature's most spectacular displays, the Masai Mara offers unparalleled wildlife viewing opportunities. Between July and October, over two million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle cross from Tanzania into Kenya, creating dramatic river crossings and attracting numerous predators.

Wildlife
|The Masai Mara has one of Africa's highest densities of lions, making big cat sightings almost guaranteed. Beyond lions, visitors regularly encounter leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, hippos, and crocodiles. The reserve is home to all of the "Big Five" and offers excellent year-round wildlife viewing even outside the migration season.
Cultural Experience
|A visit to the Masai Mara offers the opportunity to engage with the Maasai culture, one of Africa's most distinct and recognizable indigenous groups.
